Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, NYC

Brighton Beach is a neighborhood located in Brooklyn, New York.

Last weekend was a beautiful sunny day and I had the urge to visit the beach, the closest and most familiar beach next to Manhattan is Brighton Beach. So I placed my dog in the car and together
we were hading to Brighton Beach, I was in Brighton Beach a few times in the past, usually for real estate matters, I like the small houses before you get to the boardwalk and the sense of community, it has a feeling of relaxing and enjoying the moment, at least that's how I felt as I headed toward the Boardwalk.

I like the fact that the Boardwalk is confined not with hotels but with residential buildings, the neighborhood feels like a small and unique community with people dressed in swimsuits on the way to the beach. The Boardwalk is wide and long and there are coffee shops and restaurants along the way, it feels as if you are in a resort area but you are in Brooklyn!  As I was walking around I was very impressed with the beautiful buildings surrounding the Boardwalk. People were sitting outside next to their building, just enjoying the beautiful weather, and having a good time.

Boardwalk in Brighton Beach

One thing that I noticed immediately as I was driving towards Brighton Beach is that there are a lot of brand-new buildings that are still in process of construction, seems like there is a lot of real estate development in the area and the presence of investors. The main street was full of people, and the coffee shops and restaurants were working.  It seems definitely like a place where young people would love to live and a place I would myself consider living. I do like the close proximity to the beach, it is great that you can walk there. As a kid, I lived in Tel- Aviv the seashore was about two blocks away and I remember thinking that it is too far, now that I have to drive to the beach I have a better sense of distance.

Look at this Brighton Beach, bright beautiful day!!!

😊 😍 😄

I checked on Zillow  and there are few properties that wore sold in the area recently.
There are also:  Zillow  available properties.

In the past, Hell’s Kitchen was mostly occupied by mom-and-pop stores that started to close down after many years of operation. The neighborhood as a whole went through a serious face-lift, few high rises were built, The Biltmore on 8th Ave & 47th St. Platinum Condo NYC on 8th Ave& West 46th St. and Hotel Riu Plaza Hotel. A t first, the change was slow and mostly felt on 8th Ave where the sex stores were closing down and the first well-decorated bar opened bringing young and cheering clientele to celebrate the nightlife, but little by little it was obvious that the whole neighborhood was rapidly taken by bars, restaurant and coffee shops, the change then was felt o...
